• These are benign growths on the cervix or endometrium
• They can cause symptoms e.g. intermenstrual bleeding, postmenstrual spotting, post-coital bleeding or menorrhagia

• Some cervical polyps can be removed directly at the clinic with an instrument called ring forceps. It is a simple and safe procedure
• Endometrial polyps are located inside the uterus therefore you will need hysteroscopic resection to remove them
